Barcelona: Dani Alves to decide future after June 7

By

Barcelona defender Dani Alves will take a decision on whether or not to leave the club after the Champions League final.

The 32-year-old is expected to leave the Spanish giants after seven years at the club following internal issues with club president Josep Maria Bartomeu.

"Playing the Champions League final is a reward, especially considering how much we fought to reach it," the player said.

"My future? At the moment there are many other important things to take care of.

"Out of respect to everyone, my focus is on the finals we have ahead of us.

"After June 7, my future will be more clear. I wanted to stay quiet but I read so many stupid things on my future that I wanted to make things clear.

"I am yet to decide and I prefer not to talk about the chat I had with the president."
