Arsenal make shock enquiry to sign impressive Tottenham Hotspur midfielder

By

Arsenal have made contact with Tottenham Hotspur to understand if midfield Dele Alli is for sale, journalist Emanuele Giulianelli revealed on Twitter.

The 20-year-old was one of the most impressive youngster in the English Premier League last season.

It would not be a surprise if manager Arsene Wenger decides to make a move for the youngster.

But the Englishman made it clear in April that he "would rather quit football" rather than making a move to the Emirates.

Alli is currently in action with the English national team at the Euro 2016 Championship.

He signed a new five-year contract with Spurs at the start of the year.
