Chelsea ready to meet £55million valuation for Manchester City defender target wanted by boss Conte

By

Despite recently extending his contract with Juventus until 2021, defender Leonardo Bonucci could leave the club during the summer transfer window, Calciomercato.com has revealed.

Manager Antonio Conte made a first attempt to sign him during last summer's transfer window but the 30-year-old decided to stay in Turin.

But having won the Italian Serie A title for the sixth year in a row, the strong defender could decide to embark on a new experience in the English Premier League next season.

This season, the Italy international was once more one of the most important players in the defensive department for manager Massimiliano Allegri.

Real Madrid are also rumoured to be interested.
