Thomas Lemar to Arsenal: Transfer market expert confirms Monaco star will join the Gunners

By

France transfer market window expert Julian Laurens says Thomas Lemar will join Arsenal if the Gunners make a £78million bid before the end of the day.

The Gunners are in talks with Manchester City to finalise the transfer of Alexis Sanchez to Manchester.

And they want to replace the Chilean with a player manager Arsene Wenger has been chasing all summer.

"Yes, I think [Arsenal can sign him]," he told talkSPORT.

"The club has some ideas with who they could replace him, but it's a very short time left to try to replace someone like Lemar.

"However if Arsenal put a lot of money down on the table, it's a player that they've chased all summer, that Arsene Wenger absolutely loves.

"Now he would probably have to pay 80-85million euros."
