Roma and Lille reach agreement for Marko Basa

By

Roma have reached an agreement with Lille for the transfer of Marko Basa.

According to SportMediaset.it, the Giallorossi will pay £3m for the Montenegro international who will be one of the two new central defenders to replace Mehdi Benatia who will join Bayern Munich.

Two weeks ago, Benatia's agent rubbished rumours linking his client away from Roma but it looks now certain that the Moroccan will join Bayern Munich this week.

In the meantime, the Italians continue their chase for Konstantinos Manolas of Olympiakos with the defender also heavily linked with a possible move to Arsenal.
