Rafa Benitez urges Napoli focus

By

Coach Rafa Benitez has warned that Napoli have to be fully focused if they are to progress in the Italian Cup.

Napoli face Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico in the first leg of the Italian Cup semi-final and the Spaniard wants his players to forget last Sunday's defeat against Torino in the Serie A.

"The players are motivated, eager to bounce back [from the Torino defeat]," Benitez said on Tuesday.

"We have to be mentally ready because we can produce very good games when we are focused.

"On Sunday I was angry because we lost and I like to win. I am here to win and if I don't like what I see then I get angry.

"I met with the squad yesterday and today, we spoke about the mistakes we made and what we did right.

"I'm not angry anymore, I'm just ready for tomorrow's game. Against Lazio, Internazionale and Dinamo Moscow we have to show that we approach all games with the right focus.

"Lazio are enjoying a positive spell of form and we know how quality they are. If they are up there in the Serie A and in the semi-finals of the Italian Cup it means that they deserve it."
