Maurizio Sarri: It was a quality display, we showed strength and personality

By

Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri was full of praise for his players after a pivotal win against Juventus on Saturday night.

With both teams struggling for points and consistency, it was the Partenopei who enjoyed the last laugh as they took all three points to move up to eight in the table.

"It was a quality display where we showed strength and personality," Sarri said.

"I said on Friday that this game was different than all the others, regardless of the title race and position in the table.

"We started well, the approach was very positive and we were always in control.

"I wouldn't say it was the most entertaining game of football ever but we were consistent for the full 90 minutes. Against Sampdoria we played better but we struggled after we conceded.

"Tonight it was different, we improved on the physical side and even after they scored we deserved to win."
