Rafa Benitez delighted with win, happy to improve goal difference

By

Napoli coach Rafa Benitez was a delighted man after his side's 3-0 win against Young Boys in the Europa League.

Jonathan de Guzman's hat-trick means the Partenopei join Sparta Prague at the top of Group I with only two games left in the group.

"It was a great performance as a group", Benitez said after the win.

"We wanted to win tonight and doing it without conceding any goals was important.

"We didn't stop because we wanted to improve our goal difference in the group, also to avoid what happened in last season's Champions League."

Asked to comment on hat-trick hero Jonathan de Guzman, Benitez said: "He was excellent, I'm happy for him.

"I would say he deserves to be tonight's man of the match. But I today I saw a lot of positive things on the pitch, from all players."
