Rafa Benitez: We are determined to make it through the group stage

By

Napoli coach Rafa Benitez insists the team's objective is to make it through the group stage of the Europa League.

Together with Sparta Prague and Young Boys the Partenopei lead Group I on six points with the Spaniard fully aware of the importance of tomorrow's home game against Young Boys.

"We are fully focused on tomorrow's game against Young Boys because we want to make it through the group stage," Benitez said.

"We lost away from home but we didn't deserve it, in fact I don't understand the post-match criticism. We enjoyed plenty of possession and we could have scored twice in the first half.

"We made a mistake in the second half and that's an aspect of our game where we have to improve but I wouldn't archive the away game as a negative one.

"Young Boys are strong but we know that if we play as we know we can win the game, that's our objective."

Asked if he will rotate his team, Benitez said: "The management of the squad is the key to be competitive during the whole season.

"We don't just prepare one single game, we look at our campaign objectives. I have 25 players in the team and want to take advantage of all of them.

"Those who are fit and confident will play tomorrow but I will start with a team that can win the game."
