Napoli coach Rafa Benitez was not a happy man after his side failed to take all three points against Atalanta.
The Partenopei did well to bounce back from Denis' goal early in the second half and dominated the final part of the game but a missed Gonzalo Higuain penalty means they miss the chance to go third in the table.
"We deserved to win, we created a lot of goal opportunities," Benitez said after the draw.
"We conceded with their only shot in goal but the lads did their best to take all three points.
"To see the team play so well yet not take all three points is frustrating. It happened in other occasions as well. But I should be positive because the points will come.
"We cannot focus too much on the table but take it one game at a time. Today we're disappointed but we now have to focus on the next game, the one against Roma.
"Results will come if we face all games with the same mentality showed today.
"We just have to be more precise in front of goal. Saturday's game will be special, two quality teams who want to play nice football."
