Rafa Benitez on the win, Insigne, Callejon and the fans

By

Napoli coach Rafa Benitez says the Torino win was deserved and important.

The 2-1 win means the Partenopei move up to seventh in the table, just five points from second-placed Roma.

"A well-deserved and important win," Benitez said after the game.

"We spoke about heart and brain before the game and we produced it. We had nice goal-scoring opportunities and their goalkeeper was again the man of the match.

"Three consecutive wins are important, they should boost our confidence and help us continue like this.

"Lorenzo [Insigne] did exceptionally well, he works hard and his movement is key. He has to improve in terms of precision but there's time to do it. He will score many more goals [this season].

"Jose [Callejon] understood he's very important for this team, he's doing everything to perfection.

"And there's Gonzalo [Higuain] who works very hard for the team, he turns provider and will soon score as well.

"This city is filled with passion and we have to be united with the fans to reach the top places in the table. Last season we broke the points and goals scored records, we want to be just like that this season."
