Napoli coach Rafa Benitez was relieved after his side's 0-1 win against Sassuolo on Sunday afternoon.
The Partenopei needed to find some form after back-to-back disappointing results in the Italian Serie A and managed to get all three points thanks to a Jose Callejon goal in the first half.
"It's a very important win, down to group work," Benitez said after the win.
"The mentality of the team is the positive we take from the game besides the three points. We were able to suffer yet win the game and we could have scored more.
"This Napoli team is strong and the club is healthy, I think we could have won other games as well but we lacked a little bit of luck.
"The championship is long and this win is very important."
Striker Gonzalo Higuain was not on target for Napoli but he turned provider as he assisted Jose Callejon for the only goal of the game.
"Gonzalo can make the difference with goals and assists," said Benitez.
"The positive thing is that he's incredibly helpful and we have other players who know how to score like Callejon.
"We just have to continue like this, I'm very satisfied although there's still room for improvement. We will now shift our focus to the Europa League because we want to go far in Europe as well."
