Napoli manager Rafa Benitez strenuously denied reports that there is a problem with club president Aurelio De Laurentiis.
The Spaniard explained that the relationship between the two is solid and they are working to build a strong Napoli squad for the future.
"I know some were surprised that I was in Liverpool but when your family is distant and you spend a whole summer away from them, it's nice to see them," Benitez said during Saturday's press conference.
"There is no problem with the players, I speak with them every day."
"I was also surprised to read that my relationship with the president is falling apart.
"He's involved in cinematography but he's doing a terrific job in football.
"We had a meeting, we spoke about the team and the Italian Super Cup.
"Extending my contract? He will travel to America, we will talk when he comes back, we are preparing the squad for January and the future."
The Partenopei will tomorrow host Chievo and the manager says his players are fit and ready for the match.
"We're in good shape, we already were against Genoa," added the manager.
"Also to see Michu, de Guzman and other players on the bench shows that there is depth in the squad."
