Manchester United target Samir Handanovic set to extend contract

Manchester United target Samir Handanovic is set to extend his contract with Internazionale, according to his agent.

The 30-year-old is one of the many goalkeepers linked with a possible move to Old Trafford but agent Federico Pastorello says the player wants to sign a new contract with the Nerazzurri.

"The player's desire is to stay," Pastorello is quoted as saying by

"He is happy in Italy and he will always be grateful to Internazionale for signing him from Udinese, allowing him to feature in important games.

"I can say that he will probably extend his contract with the club."
