"The transfer will be confirmed next week" - Chelsea target will complete Premier League move in the next 72 hours

By

Liverpool are very close to completing the signing of Chelsea target Nabil Fekir, the Daily Star has claimed.

The 24-year-old will join the Reds for an estimated fee of £60million.

It is unclear when the transfer will be completed but reports in Italy have claimed that it could take less than 72 hours.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has called the player a "superior element" adding that whoever wants to sign him must spend big.

"He has magnificently earned the right to go to Russia with the French national team," he declared.

"That gives him a superior status.

"For the moment, nothing has been decided. You'll have to be very rich to recruit Nabil Fekir this year."
