"Unai Emery is a fan" - Striker will join Arsenal in July and will meet new manager to discuss future

By

New Arsenal boss Unai Emery wants striker Lucas Perez to join the rest of the squad for pre-season, according to reports.

Spanish outlet El Desmarque has claimed that the former Paris Saint-Germain manager is a fan of the player and wants him to team-up with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette in the Arsenal offensive department.

The 29-year-old joined Arsenal after they failed to sign Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy.

He struggled to make an impact in London and was furious with the club last summer after his number 9 jersey was assigned to new signing Alexandre Lacazette.

He left to join Deportivo La Coruna on loan where he scored 9 goals in 37 games but is now expected to return to the Emirates.
