Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain set to open negotiations to finalise transfer of international midfielder

By

England international Jack Wilshere could join Paris Saint-Germain according to reports in France.

L'Equipe has revealed that the player's representatives have contacted the French giants to make them aware of the fact that the midfielder is searching for a new club.

He featured regularly in Arsene Wenger's squad at the start of the year but failed to make an impact in the last part of the campaign.

Meanwhile, the 26-year-old was left out of England's squad for the 2018 World Cup Finals.

He was expecting to be on the plane to Russia but was omitted by Gareth Southgate.

"Think its about time I had my say," Wilshere wrote on Twitter.

"It goes without saying that I'm naturally incredibly disappointed to have been left out of the England squad for the World Cup.

"I've felt fit, sharp and strong all season and believe I should be in the squad!"
