"It's only a matter of wages" - Transfer market expert reveals who will be Chelsea's next manager

By

Former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique could be Chelsea's next manager if the two parties reach a financial agreement.

According to transfer market expert Tancredi Palmeri, the Blues are interested in the Spaniard who would replace Antonio Conte.

"If Luis Enrique doesn’t join Chelsea, it’s only for a matter of wages," Palmeri wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Marca has hinted at another reason why the 48-year-old will not make a move to the English Premier League, his arrogance.

"The conversations with [Luis Enrique] didn't have a happy ending," Marca reported.

"Marina Granovskaia is Roman Abramovich's person of trust and is in charge of all areas of the club, especially the sporting side of things," the Madrid-based newspaper explained.

"At first, in January and February, it seemed as if the meetings would end with some kind of agreement, but Luis Enrique's personality put the brakes on that.

"Chelsea's hierarchy have spoken of his 'arrogance' and that is one of the reasons why negotiations with him stopped so swiftly after starting."
