Rudi Garcia delighted with win, worried about injuries

By

Coach Rudi Garcia says injuries to Francesco Totti, Edin Dzeko and Seydou Keita are a concern for Roma.

The Giallorossi eased past Carpi on Saturday afternoon but will have the three players assessed on Sunday to understand for how long they will be out of action.

"We said this the other day: If we play the same way we did against Sampdoria we will win lots of games," Garcia told reporters.

"We played well tonight and scored five goals. We might even have won by a bigger scoreline but Carpi never gave up.

"The win came at a price though because we had to make three changes due to injuries inside the first 55 minutes. That's not good for us going forward.

"We said this at the start of the season and we were calm even after we lost to Sampdoria.

"We need to believe in our ability and show what we can do out on the pitch. We've managed to do that lots of times this season but we didn't against Frosinone and Sassuolo. We made use of our talents today to play well and get the result."
