Rudi Garcia disappointed but looking forward

By

Roma coach Rudi Garcia was bitterly disappointed after yet another home defeat for his side.

A heavy 3-0 home defeat at the hands of Fiorentina saw the Giallorossi crash out of the Europa League and suffer their second home defeat in four days.

And Jose Maria Basanta's third was the fifth goal Roma conceded this week at the Stadio Olimpico.

"We have to analyse the game, if we made individual mistakes then there's nothing or little one can do," Garcia said.

"It was impossible to qualify after conceding two goals the way we did. I am embarrassed [for the defeat] but I will not give up.

"Tomorrow we will resume [our job].

"I want to be in the Champions [League] next season.

"This season can still have a positive ending and it will be so if we qualify for next season's Champions [League]. And there's only one recipe to do it: winning games."
