Roma coach Rudi Garcia was happy after his side's 1-0 win away from home against Udinese.
The Giallorossi were far from their best - especially in front of goal - but still managed to take three very important points in the title race.
"It was a good way to resume, the same way we ended [the year]," Garcia said.
"It's never easy to win at Udine, the lads did well and played a good game. It would have been better to score a second and close the game, we had chances to do it.
"Even if we changed a lot at the back, defensively we have improved this season. We're a solid squad and this will be important for the second half of the season.
"It's now three games in which we kept a clean sheet and it's an important number.
"I also enjoyed that we scored from a set-piece, I always say we should take more advantage of set-piece opportunities.
"But all in all it was a positive performance, except the four goal opportunities we didn't convert to add a second."
Davide Astori scored the only goal of the game with Udinese believing the ball did not cross the line.
But Garcia disagrees.
"The referee did well because he was in a great position to see that ball did cross the line.
"But goal-line technology would help to avoid misunderstandings."
Juventus face Internazionale later on in the day and the Frenchman says the Bianconeri will be under pressure to deliver.
"Yes, [they will be under pressure]," added Garcia.
"There's always pressure on those ahead of us when we play first and win. And vice versa."
