Roma coach Rudi Garcia says his players showed character and personality on their way to the 1-2 win away at Atalanta.
The Giallorossi were shocked by Maximiliano Moralez's early goal but bounced back with Adem Ljajic and Radja Nainggolan securing all three points to put more pressure on leaders Juventus.
"The important thing is to win, especially when you're trailing after 2-3 minutes," Garcia said.
"Atalanta did well in causing us trouble but we reacted brilliantly. It was tougher in the second half but the three points were the most important outcome.
"Roma showed character and personality tonight. But maybe yes, we today lost possession more than we did the whole season.
"Rotation was forced with [Francesco] Totti suspended. But I'm lucky enough to have plenty of solutions up front.
"Right now [Adem] Ljajic is full of confidence, he already did exceptionally well against Torino.
"I'm happy for him, he was important. But I don't say it today, I've said it for months that he's talented.
"[The referee?] I saw no shocking mistakes. There were a lot of yellow cards showed but it's because of the many clashes."
