Roma coach Rudi Garcia says his players don't want to be virtual spectators when they face Manchester City on Tuesday in the Champions League.
The Giallorossi's impressive start to the season continued with a 2-0 win against Verona on Saturday and the Frenchman believes his team is ready for a tough away game at the City of Manchester Stadium.
"We had to be patient, waiting for the right moment to score," Garcia said on the Verona win.
"We started the game well, maybe we lacked precision in front of goal but at the end of the first half I told the players to pass the ball around, to find gaps.
"Then Ale [Alessandro Florenzi] scored and Mattia [Destro] scored a fantastic goal. We had 20 shots and 70% of possession, I'm happy."
"The Manchester City game will be fantastic, they are under pressure to delivery, we will then have almost a whole week to recover for the next Serie A game.
"We are focused on the City game, playing in the Champions League is fantastic, we don't want to be virtual spectators, we now have to recover from today's game so as to be ready for Tuesday."
