Coach Rudi Garcia says Roma and Juventus will not be the only two teams fighting for the title.
The Giallorossi kept their unbeaten run going with a 2-1 away win against Parma but the Frenchman insists that four other teams could fight for the Scudetto.
"They [Parma] defended with five men after the equaliser, finding spaces to score was not easy," Garcia said in his post-match press conference.
"We managed to score and control the game in the first half, with Parma never having a shot at goal but we struggled at the start of the second half, we gave away possession and they scored from a set-piece, the only way we could have conceded.
"After four games it's not easy to say [who will fight for the title]. It won't be just Roma and Juventus. Napoli, Fiorentina, Milan and Internazionale will also fight at the top."
Miralem Pjanic's brilliant winner maintained Roma's perfect start to the Italian season as Garcia was full of praise for the 24-year-old.
"Games like this one can be won by giving the ball to Pjanic who can score such a brilliant free-kick," the Frenchman said.
"We have to be able to score in a number of different ways, I enjoyed Ljajic's goal, no wonder I mentioned him during yesterday's press conference.
"We kept attacking even after they equalised and won the game thanks to Pjanic, a genius."
When asked if strikers Francesco Totti and Mattia Destro could play together Garcia said: "Yes, I've said it before.
"Mattia wouldn't have scored so many goals if it wasn't for Francesco last season.
"I take decisions and when we win we're all happy but against Verona we might as well see both of them together. I will study Verona, starting tonight on the plane."
