Atletico Madrid leading race to sign Alessio Cerci

By

Atletico Madrid are ready to increase their initial £9.5m offer to sign Torino winger Alessio Cerci.

According to GianlucaDiMarzio.com, the Spanish giants are determined to finalise the transfer for the 27-year-old before the end of the transfer market with Torino not reluctant to listen to offers.

Earlier this month, Cerci threatened to take legal actions over a tweet on his personal Twitter account that said that he was an Atletico Madrid player.

The Italian insisted he was playing video games at the time the tweet was posted as later on confirmed by team-mate Ruben Perez.

Meanwhile, Torino coach Giampiero Ventura omitted the player from the squad to face Internazionale on Sunday.
