Maurizio Sarri to Chelsea: Italian manager will bring one of Europe's best players with him from Napoli

By

If Maurizio Sarri joins Chelsea he will make sure to bring defender Kalidou Koulibaly along, according to Calciomercato.com.

The 26-year-old enjoyed one of his best seasons and was one of the key players for the Partenopei.

He is not the only player expected to leave the club.

Marek Hamsik, Jorginho and Dries Mertens are also expected to leave Italy after Napoli failed to win the Scudetto.

FC Zenit Saint Petersburg remain favourites to sign Sarri but the Blues are keeping a close eye on the situation.

Koulibaly was very close to making a move to Stamford Bridge last season but he eventually decided to stay in Italy.

His contract with the Serie A giants expires in June, 2021.
