Willian and Anthony Martial transfer latest - Arsenal legend says swap deal would suit both parties

By

Arsenal legend Ray Parlour says a swap deal between Chelsea and Manchester United for Willian and Anthony Martial would be a win-win situation for both parties.

Recent reports have claimed that the two clubs are about to meet to discuss the possibility of engaging into a rare swap deal.

The Brazilian is expected to leave Stamford Bridge after falling out with manager Antonio Conte with the Frenchman eager to leave Old Trafford to enjoy regular first-team football with another team.

"He [Willian] knows he's probably on his way anyway, Conte," he told talkSPORT.

"I think he's a great player.

"There's been talk about Martial maybe in a swap deal.

"Jose obviously knows him very well from his Chelsea days.

"Martial needs to play on a regular basis, so that could be a deal."
