Manchester United set to agree £26.3million deal to sign impressive youngster wanted by Barcelona

By

Manchester United could agree a £26.3m deal for Real Betis midfielder Fabian Ruiz according to Birmingham Live.

The 21-year-old has become a hot property after a phenomenal campaign in the Spanish Liga and is also a target for Barcelona and Lazio.

But speaking before Real Betis' last game of the season, the youngster opted not to reveal what his plans are for next season.

"The only thing I'm thinking about is Betis and at this moment it hasn't entered my head to leave the place where I grew up," Fabian said at a club promotional event before Betis' 3-2 win defeat against Leganes.

"We have a match at Leganes on Saturday where we can finish fifth in the table and that's the only thing that matters right now.

"I cannot talk about the future. I am focused on Betis, on Saturday, and then going on holiday – nothing else.

"We've shown this year that with hard work anything is possible and that for youngsters like myself it is possible to play a lot of minutes and do well."
