Medical passed and three-year contract agreed: Arsenal target completes Premier League move - "I couldn't turn this offer down"

By

Arsenal target Jonny Evans has left West Bromwich Albion to sign for Leicester City.

The 30-year-old was heavily linked with a move to the Emirates last summer and there were rumours last month as well.

After signing for the Foxes, the former Manchester United man was full of praise for his new club.

"When this opportunity came up, it's one that I couldn't turn down," he said.

"It's an ambitious club, the owners are ambitious and everyone wants to push the club forward.

"It's a great place to play football, the fans really get behind the team and the players are fantastic."

Evans signed a three-year contract with his new club.
