"Why not?" - £60million attacking midfielder finally breaks silence amid rumours he is wanted by Arsenal

By

Liverpool and Arsenal target Nabil Fekir says he will soon meet with Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas to understand where he will be playing his football next season.

Recent reports have claimed that the Reds are very close to making him their first summer signing.

But the 24-year-old was full of praise for Lyon in an interview with RTL.

"[A new team?] Why not? Later there can be discussions with the president, with my entourage, to make a decision," he said.

"In life, nothing can be forbidden."

In a separate interview, he told RMC Sport: "I don't know, frankly.

"I had a great season here, with the staff, the crowd and exceptional players.

"There were a lot of emotions and we finished it in style.

"I gave everything for Lyon, we'll see for the future."
