Arsenal ready to offer £17.9m to sign goalscoring winger

By

Napoli winger Jose Callejon is ready to sign for Arsenal with the Gunners set to open talks to sign him, according to reports in Italy.

The 28-year-old has established himself as one of the best offensive players in the Serie A since joining in the summer of 2013 from Real Madrid.

He is a target also for Atletico Madrid.

In Italy, the Spaniard scored 32 goals in 111 games for the Partenopei.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis revealed that the player could be sold if the right offer is received.

"He will stay if no club makes an offer," he said.
