Arsenal dealt blow as two Serie A targets agree to stay for next season

By

Napoli wingers Dries Mertens and Lorenzo Insigne will stay with the club despite recent rumours they could depart the Stadio San Paolo in the summer.

According to Calciomercato.com, the two Arsenal targets will next week join the rest of the squad for pre-season.

The club could offer both players a pay rise to convince them to stay especially after it was reported that Insigne is not happy to earn less than many other Napoli stars.

Meanwhile, Internazionale have also showed interest for the 28-year-old Belgian.

They made an official offer for the player last week, an offer that was deemed ridiculous by the Partenopei.
