Arsenal £13m target close to completing switch from Juventus to Napoli

Daniele Rugani's agent Davide Torchia has confirmed that Napoli could soon make a move for the 20-year-old defender.

The youngster is a target for Arsene Wenger's Arsenal according to reports in England but if he is to leave Juventus then it will be to join another team in the Serie A.

The Partenopei are expected to lose Miguel Britos in the defensive department and Rugani is one of the many players shortlisted to take over in central defence.

"Rugani to join Napoli? Anything could happen," Torchia told Radio Crc.

"If I were Napoli and wanted to sign Rugani at all costs, I would do all I could to sign him, making sure to avoid a season-long loan deal.

"Juventus want to keep the player but if an important offer is made, maybe an agreement could be possible."
