Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United dealt blow in pursuit of world class striker

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has revealed that striker Gonzalo Higuain is not for sale.

The Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Juventus target is rumoured to be ready to leave the club after Napoli failed to qualify for next season's Champions League.

But De Laurentiis insists that the 27-year-old will not leave during the summer transfer window.

"Higuain to leave? I'm afraid newspapers have nothing to report," De Laurentiis told Sky Sport Italy.

"They keep inventing rumours but the fact is that a contract has to be respected.

"Then granted, if some club is crazy enough ready to meet his £71m buy-out clause ..."
