David Lopez on the verge of £4m switch to Napoli

By

Napoli will this week announce the arrival of David Lopez Silva from Espanyol, according to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Italian transfer market expert spoke to Radio Marte about the transfer moves of Napoli, confirming Rafa Benitez's side will soon announce the arrival of the 24-year-old.

"New arrivals besides Lopez? Not likely, but it's almost done for the arrival of the Spaniard," Di Marzio said.

Asked about the absence of Juan Camilo Zuniga from this week's Champions League match in Bilbao, the journalist explained that it could be a sign that the Colombia international is ready to leave the squad.

"It was strange he was not in the line-up, it could mean that he will be sold.

"[Napoli sports director Riccardo] Bigon is working to sell players but new signings are unlikely if Pandev and Zapata are not sold."
