Milan closing in on £3m transfer deal for Blerim Dzemaili

Napoli midfielder Blerim Dzemaili will join Milan according to Italian newspaper Il Mattino.

The Switzerland international was not called by manager Rafa Benitez for tomorrow's Champions League 2nd leg play-off with the Spanish manager preferring Walter Gargano in midfield.

It is rumoured that the 28-year-old asked club chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis to be sold with Napoli ready to satisfy the midfielder's wish to leave the club.

With the Partenopei asking £4m for the player and Milan only ready to offer £2m, the two parties might have to settle for the in-between fee of £3m.
