Champions League spot crucial for Napoli to seal new signings

By

Napoli will tomorrow face Athletic Bilbao in what could be a do-or-die scenario for their transfer campaign.

After the 1-1 draw at the San Paolo stadium, Rafa Benitez's men travel to Bilbao to face Los Leones, determined to qualify so as to use the financial boost to strengthen the midfield.

With Valon Behrami sold to Hamburg and Blerim Dzemaili heavily linked with a possible move to Milan, Italian newspaper TuttoSport reports that the Partenopei will make a move for Tottenham Hotspur's Sandro if they battle past Athletic Bilbao.

Negotiations will be made easier if Barcelona's Alex Song joins Spurs to replace the 25-year-old Brazilian.

Song, 26, failed to make an impact in the Spanish Liga and is desperate to return to England with former club Arsenal also rumoured to be interested.
