Napoli edging closer to Marouane Fellaini, to make offer for Matija Nastasic

With Jonathan de Guzman set to join former team-mate Michu at Napoli from Swansea City, Rafa Benitez's side are ready to seal more deals with English Premier League clubs.

According to reports in Italy, the Partenopei are still interested in Manchester United's Marouane Fellaini with the two parties set to meet to discuss the transfer with Napoli manager Rafa Benitez preferring to have the player on a one-season loan solution.

For the defensive department, the Italians are ready to make a move for Matija Nastasic.

The youngster would join for £2.5m with Napoli to pay a further £10m if the move becomes a permanent one at the end of next season.

On Tuesday night, Napoli produced a fine offensive display to restore parity against Athletic Bilbao but were unconvincing yet again in defence with the Spanish manager eager to rectify the problem during this summer's transfer window.
