Filippo Inzaghi: I will continue to work hard to improve the squad

By

Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi admits it will not be easy for his side to recover from yesterday's 2-2 draw against Verona.

The Italian continues to be under pressure after Nico Lopez's 95th-minute equaliser at the Stadio San Siro and says he should be held responsible for yet another disappointing result on home soil.

"It's not easy, we have to somehow bounce back and look forward," Inzaghi said after the draw.

"Things would have been different [had we not conceded], for sure is that we simply cannot afford to concede the way we did.

"We did well after going behind, playing with nothing to lose but after we took the lead we played with fear and I have to understand why.

"It's a shame and as coach I am the one to be held responsible but I will continue to work hard to improve this Milan squad."
