Filippo Inzaghi hoping clean sheet is key to beating Chievo

By

Coach Filippo Inzaghi has admitted that it is very important to keep a clean sheet tomorrow against Chievo.

With 30 goals conceded this season and only one clean sheet in their last eight Serie A games, the Rossoneri will be looking to improve their defensive record at the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi.

But the Italian says Chievo should not be taken lightly despite their poor position in the table.

"Winning is a must if we are to be consistent," Inzaghi said.

"But it will not be easy, Chievo did exceptionally well two weeks ago against Sampdoria and they have a very good coach in [Rolando] Maran who can change things on the fly.

"Although I believe we are in a strong position to win the game.

"Our job will also be to keep a clean sheet, that's very important, because we very rarely fail to score."
