Jeremy Menez says Milan can bounce back after a negative start to the new year.
Coach Filippo Inzaghi opted not to face the media ahead of tonight's game with midfielder Jeremy Menez replacing the 41-year-old during Monday's press conference.
The 27-year-old insists that there are no internal problems inside the group but believes that today's game is do-or-die for Milan's campaign.
"The players are with [coach Filippo] Inzaghi," the Frenchman said.
"I don't say so just to say something, it's that we all think so.
"This Milan side lacks a little bit of aggressiveness, we were ahead in both games against Torino and Roma but it seems that sometimes we are too soft.
"We have to be more aggressive, it's a feature of true champions.
"We understand the importance of tomorrow's [tonight's] game, for us, for the coach, for the fans. We cannot miss, but we shouldn't add more pressure on our shoulders.
"We should go out there like lions, simply because we cannot fail.
"We care about the Italian Cup, it's an important trophy this season. We're not enjoying a good moment in the championship so it would be nice if we can do something in the cup."
