Filippo Inzaghi: Winning away at Cagliari will be tough for any team

By

Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi says the away 1-1 draw against Cagliari should be considered as a positive result.

With Zdenek Zeman's side enjoying an easy win against Empoli last Saturday and Milan in action on Sunday evening against Fiorentina, the Italian was upset with Cagliari's extra day off at the start of the week.

"Cagliari had the advantage of having played on Saturday whilst we were coming from Sunday's tough game [against Fiorentina]," Inzaghi said after the draw.

"We could have lost today but managed to take an important point to consolidate an important third place in the table.

"[Keisuke] Honda did well, he played a good game like all other players on a heavy pitch. Winning here will be tough for any team.

"Maybe we could have done something more but we now look forward to Sunday's game to take important points. That would allow us to keep an important position in the table."
