Giacomo Bonaventura: We could have done better

By

Milan midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura says the Rossoneri could have done better on Sunday against Cesena.

Filippo Inzaghi's men could only manage a draw, the second in a week, with the 25-year saying that the players tried their best to get all three points from the Stadio Dino Manuzzi.

"It was a tough game," Bonaventura said after the 1-1 draw.

"We tried our best. Cesena is very aggressive, we tried to win the game but unfortunately we failed to do so even if we deserved to win.

"Regardless of the individual incidents, we could have done better.

"I was impressed by the quality of the team when I arrived [in the summer], there is huge potential in this team."
