Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi says he is satisfied with the 1-1 draw away against Cesena.
The Rossoneri did well to respond immediately to Cesena's early goal but struggled in the second half after defender Cristian Zapata was shown a straight red for tackling Gregoire Defrel.
It is Milan's second consecutive draw away from home after the one in mid-week against Empoli as they move up to sixth in the table, seven points from leaders Juventus and Roma.
"We played a great match in the first half, I'm satisfied, we could have easily taken the lead," Inzaghi said after the game.
"We then were down to ten men and the game can be lost when that happens so we'll take the very good first half played.
"Fatigue played a role late in the second half because we spent more energy than Cesena.
"We did well in keeping things tight in the first half and that's what we have to do in the entire match."
Goalkeeper Christian Abbiati was guilty of not making enough when the hosts took the lead but Inzaghi prefers not to play the scapegoat game.
"Abbiati is a great goalkeeper, he saved us in a number of occasions [in the past] and maybe the artificial pitch caused him trouble. But let's not find the guilty party, we know we're not perfect."
