Milan midfielder Marco van Ginkel is expected to be sidelined for a month after suffering ankle ligament damage on Tuesday against Empoli.
The 21-year-old was making his debut for the Rossoneri but was substituted after 31 minutes and will miss Sunday's away game against Cesena and the home game against Chievo before the international break.
The youngster is expected to resume training on the second week of October and could be available for the away game against Verona on October 19.
