Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi says strikers Fernando Torres and Stephan El Shaarawy could both be in the squad to face Juventus on Saturday.
The Spain international has recovered from the ankle injury that kept him on the sidelines last week as he joins the 21-year-old who trained without any problems during the week.
"[Fernando] Torres worked hard to play against Parma [last week]," Inzaghi said during Friday's press conference.
"He wanted to be on the bench but in the end we decided not to take any risks.
"Both of them [Torres and El Shaarawy] are determined to play, I will decide at the very end."
The Rossoneri host Juventus as Serie A leaders but the manager knows it will be difficult to get all three points from the San Siro game.
"We all know Juventus and Roma are on a different planet," added Inzaghi.
"You then have seven teams who could join the race and we're amongst them.
"We can go far with this determination and attitude, I read what the players said before the match and I liked what they said.
"We're serene but if Juventus end up being stronger we will simply accept defeat and shake hands with the winners."
