Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi says the San Siro fans can play an important role when the Rossoneri host Juventus on Saturday evening.
The two teams won both their opening games and will go head to head in what should be an exciting game of football.
"We have little or nothing to lose," Inzaghi said during Friday's press conference.
"We have the home advantage, the fans can help us to achieve a good result, I hope they give us that much-needed energy.
"The game comes at the right time, we're leading the table and a full San Siro stadium is just what the players need.
"How will we hurt Juventus? I don't know exactly, we hope to be able to match them because we're unbeaten and in the end it's eleven against eleven.
"They strengthened [during the transfer window] and the last goal they conceded was in April.
"We will give it our best shot, this team has grown since the Tim Trophy [in the summer] and I see the group is united, it's nice to see."
Juventus striker Carlos Tevez was in sublime form for the Bianconeri in mid-week but Inzaghi believes his players can cope with the danger.
"I know how important de Jong is," added the manager.
"We will of course do our homework, we will study the opposition and we'll see what works best against them.
"We have to match them, it would be a great morale boost if we do."
