Milan midfielder Jeremy Menez says it's too early to speak about the championship.
The Rossoneri needed five goals to battle past a stubborn Parma side and join Juventus and Roma at the top of the Serie A table.
Milan and Juventus will clash at the San Siro stadium on Saturday evening in what will be one of the key games of the campaign for both sides.
"I'm happy here, it's a strong group," Menez told the club's official website.
"We started the season well, it was a tough game [against Parma] but we did well.
"To win is nice but there's still a long way to go, we will now get some much-needed rest ahead of a big game on Saturday."
The 27-year-old was again on target for the Rossoneri, scoring his second and third goals of the season.
"It's nice to get goals, especially one like this," added the midfielder.
"Winning after Bonera's red card was not easy but we managed to do it.
"I like to play in all areas of the pitch, I hope to keep this level up, for the team and the fans."
