Milan manager Filippo Inzaghi says Parma will not make life easy for his team when the two teams meet tomorrow.
The manager spent a year at Parma as a player and is looking forward to returning to the Ennio Tardini Stadium.
"It's always nice to return to Parma, I have a lot of nice memories," Inzaghi said on Saturday.
"Tomorrow will be tough, it's out first away game and it will nice to assess our level away from home.
"We ended last season in eight position so we need time to rediscover our identity.
"I'm aware some will change their opinion on our team in case of a negative result, our job is to stay grounded and keep focusing on our objectives."
The manager is expected to include new signings Fernando Torres, Marco van Ginkel and Giacomo Bonaventura in the squad.
"[Torres and Bonaventura] did well in training and so van Ginkel," added the manager.
"I'm happy they are here, they are serious professionals and great players as well.
"It's my job to find the best way to use these players although let's not forget the importance of substitutions."
