Fernando Torres latest: Player expected in Milan today

By

As official announced yesterday on Chelsea's official website, Fernando Torres has joined Milan on a two-year loan deal.

The Spain international will land at the Linate airport in Milan this afternoon and will immediately undergo a medical at the La Madonnina clinic.

According to Italian newspaper "La Gazzetta dello Sport", the striker will sign a contract that will see him earn nearly £3.5m per season with the club and player to renegotiate the contract in January 2016.

The 30-year-old will replace Mario Balotelli in Milan's offensive department and will be expected to have an immediate impact considering he's not new to important venues having played at the Vicente Calderon, Anfield and Stamford Bridge stadiums.
